💼 About This Role

You'll oversee financial services and serve as an outsourced CFO for mission-driven clients at a remote-first company. Your core impact will be managing audits, budgets, and compliance reporting for charter schools and nonprofits. This role offers the chance to mentor staff and build long-term client relationships.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review financial statements for GAAP compliance.
• Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts for clients.
• Oversee financial and government audits including work paper preparation.
• Serve as fiscal liaison to authorizers, counties, and state agencies.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 7 years of experience including staff oversight.
• Experience in charter school finance or non-profit accounting (preferred but required).
• Knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar non-profit accounting systems.

• CPA certification.
• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience in a professional service firm.
