Description
You will drive strategic growth by acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding relationships in the DACH region, engaging C-level stakeholders and using proven sales methodologies to manage complex sales cycles. You'll articulate the business value of Aiven's multi-cloud data and AI platform to help enterprises achieve agility, cost efficiency, and faster time-to-market.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of success in enterprise SaaS or cloud infrastructure sales
- Proven track record of overachievement against multimillion-dollar targets
- Ability to close complex, consultative deals with long sales cycles
- Experience engaging senior technical and business leaders
- Skilled in outcome-based selling (Challenger Sales methodology)
- Experience with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or similar sales frameworks
- Strong understanding of data and technology landscape
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Fluent English and German language proficiency strongly preferred
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial approach; experience in fast-paced startup/scale-up is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Drive new business by identifying and winning enterprise logos in the DACH region ( $500M+ revenue)
- Lead full sales cycle from outreach to closing
- Expand strategic accounts by uncovering new use cases and upselling additional services
- Engage C-suite and VP-level stakeholders across technical and business functions
- Become expert in Aiven's platform and open-source technologies (Kafka, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Clickhouse)
- Rigorously qualify opportunities using MEDDPICC framework
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Solution Architects, Product, and Engineering
- Stay informed on industry trends in cloud, data infrastructure, and DACH enterprise market
- Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas and KPIs
