Description

You will lead a team of Applications Engineers providing internal technical support for three-phase power, automation, and communication within low/medium voltage switchgear. You'll ensure timely, high-quality responses to internal inquiries and oversee pre-order engineering activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) or related field.
• 7+ years experience in applications or design engineering for power distribution/switchgear.
• At least 2-3 years in technical leadership or people management.
• Strong technical understanding of three-phase power systems, including distribution and control.
• Hands-on experience with switchgear design and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and enable team success including goal setting and performance reviews.
• Ensure timely, high-quality internal consulting to sales with product solutions.
• Oversee responses to internal inquiries when IEM documentation is insufficient.
• Monitor team workload, lead meetings, provide guidance, and take disciplinary action as needed.
• Coordinate recruiting, identify skill gaps, and work with management to address training or staffing needs.
