Description

You will provide patient care including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety under the direction of a Charge Nurse. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, turning and repositioning residents, measuring intake and output, and maintaining a safe environment.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state of work
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift heavy objects and transfer patients (200+ lbs) with proper techniques
• Long-term care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care related to hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety
• Take and record vital signs, height, weight accurately
• Turn and reposition residents every 2 hours; reposition seated residents every hour
• Measure and document intake and output
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs
