You'll lead thermal characterization initiatives for single-crystal diamond technology at Diamond Foundry Inc., a unicorn powering AI, EVs, and 5G. You'll develop advanced metrology methods to ensure quality and drive process control. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge materials in a fast-growing, profitable company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Take ownership of advanced thermal characterization systems, including installation and calibration.
• Develop and validate measurement protocols for thermal conductivity and TBR.
• Apply Monte Carlo simulations to model heat transfer and correlate with material properties.
• Build automated data analysis tools to enhance efficiency and integration.

📋 Requirements

• PhD with 1+ years, Master’s with 2+ years, or Bachelor’s with 4+ years in Physics, Materials Science, or Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with FDTR/TDTR including tool qualification and maintenance.
• Experience in thermal modeling and Monte Carlo methods for microscale heat transfer.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis (SPC, JMP) and programming (Python or MATLAB).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with wide-bandgap semiconductors or carbon-based materials (diamond).
• Strong foundation in semiconductor physics and thermal management.
