Description

You will conduct bottoms-up fundamental credit research to generate trade ideas across the liquid US convertible universe, analyzing businesses and capital structures from distressed to investment grade. You will collaborate with the portfolio manager and team to develop differentiated investment views and monitor portfolio positions.

Requirements

• 2+ years credit research experience (buy-side or sell-side)
• Strong financial modelling and relative value analysis skills
• Familiarity with bonds and credit default swaps
• Comfort with uncertainty and ability to express conviction
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and collaborative

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental bottom-up credit research for long/short opportunities
• Analyze businesses and capital structures across distressed, high yield, and high grade credit markets
• Develop thematic trade ideas across sectors
• Monitor existing positions including news, fundamentals, and supply
• Synthesize market information and produce investment recommendations
