Description

You will own the full lifecycle of corporate actions and income events—from announcement through allocation and reconciliation—across equities, ETFs, mutual funds, and fixed income. This role focuses on modernizing workflows, enhancing controls, and driving automation to build a scalable, audit-ready operation at a fast-growing fintech company.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in brokerage, clearing, or custody operations focused on corporate actions and income processing
  • Strong working knowledge of DTCC PBS
  • Deep understanding of mandatory and voluntary event types, timelines, market standards, and tax/cost-basis implications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Series 7 and 24 licenses required
  • Hands-on experience with FIS and XSP (Phase3/XSP CA platform) strongly preferred
  • Experience with alternatives or OCC option adjustments a plus

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, review, and process all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions
  • Oversee dividends, interest, and related payments with proper withholding and cost-basis adjustments
  • Manage event lifecycle: announcements, options, elections, allocations, entitlements, and reconciliations
  • Coordinate with custodians, DTCC, and proxy agents for voluntary events and elections
  • Implement and monitor maker-checker controls, exception dashboards, KPIs, and audit-ready evidence
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to automate workflows and drive straight-through processing
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve discrepancies; ensure regulatory compliance
  • Build and maintain process documentation, playbooks, and SOPs
  • Manage vendor relationships (DTCC, proxy vendors, custodians) and contribute to platform enhancements
