💼 About This Role

You'll lead permitting efforts for thermal power generation facilities at an energy transition company backed by Carlyle. Your work will ensure projects progress from early-stage development through construction commencement. You'll collaborate across development, engineering, and legal teams on large-scale energy infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Obtain permits for thermal energy projects from early to construction stage.
• Manage third-party consultants supporting permitting activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on permit strategy and execution.
• Engage with community stakeholders and regulatory officials directly.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in the energy industry.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including advanced PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to work hybrid in Dana Point, Salt Lake City, or Lake Oswego 3 days/week.

✨ Nice to Have

• Arizona or BLM permitting experience.
• Experience with project management software.
• Experience supporting projects through full cycle from greenfield to construction.
