💼 About This Role

You'll design and build the platform and backend systems powering Rubrik's internal AI enablement engine. You'll own core infrastructure from Kubernetes to cloud-native services, working closely with product, AI, and security teams. This is a high-autonomy role where you'll drive engineering excellence and mentor other engineers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery of major platform initiatives
• Operate Kubernetes clusters, networking, and multi-tenant orchestration
• Design and optimize distributed services on AWS/GCP
• Drive engineering excellence through code quality and CI/CD

📋 Requirements

• 9+ years of software engineering with backend and infrastructure focus
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience building and operating clusters
• Proven experience designing and operating distributed systems in production

✨ Nice to Have

• Observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry)
• Multi-cloud or hybrid infrastructure experience
• Familiarity with AI gateways and policy/authorization frameworks
