💼 About This Role

You'll join a therapeutic community to serve as a Senior Counselor for the PGYCC prison program, helping incarcerated youth. You'll oversee service delivery and supervise counseling staff while providing direct client counseling. This role offers the chance to work within a correctional facility and contribute to rehabilitation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Assist Engagement Director in overseeing service delivery and program operations.
• Monitor assigned tasks of counselors and participate in service delivery.
• Conduct evidence-based workshops and provide individual/group counseling.
• Liaise between counselors, coordinator, and PGYCC personnel.

📋 Requirements

• Licensed as a psychologist, social worker, or LMFT, OR certification in AOD, OR 2 years professional counseling experience, OR 3 years social casework/teaching with youthful offenders.
• Must pass a background check administered by CDCR.

• Formerly incarcerated or justice-involved individuals preferred.
