Description

You will perform precision inspection of machined aerospace parts for rocket valves, using surface plate work, CMM programming, and GD&T to ensure conformance to design requirements. You'll work cross-functionally to improve quality and reduce defects on second shift in Hawthorne, CA.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years of quality inspection experience
• Understanding of ISO 9001/AS9100 quality management systems
• Thorough understanding of layout inspection tools
• Ability to work 2nd shift and overtime

Responsibilities

• Complete surface plate work and inspection of machined aerospace parts
• Perform complex inspections using standardized methods
• Interact with production to improve products and reduce defects
• Document non-conformances per procedures
• Create and verify CMM programs with PC-DMIS
