Description

You will design and build automated solutions for Starship production, including developing PLC code, robot systems, and safety systems. You'll work hands-on with electrical control panels, HMI screens, and electromechanical components to deploy automated equipment into production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 2+ years experience in design and commissioning of automation and controls systems for industrial applications
• Experience with PLC programming (preferably Siemens TIA Portal or Beckhoff TwinCat 3)
• Hands-on experience building and commissioning electrical control panels and electro-mechanical systems
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Participate in initial equipment conceptual development balancing specifications, process requirements, layout, cost, and lead-time
• Design industrial electrical control panels compliant with NFPA79/NEC/UL508A and create electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics
• Develop and debug PLC code for manufacturing applications with focus on structured, maintainable code
• Implement control reliable safety systems for robots, gantries, and conveyors (ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant)
• Generate HMI screens for troubleshooting and manage electrical cabinet builds, field wiring, and plumbing
