You'll lead the Developer Environments team at Affirm, building fast, stable developer environments for 800+ engineers. Your work will directly improve developer velocity by optimizing environment provisioning and reliability. This role offers high impact in a hypergrowth FinTech environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and drive the vision for Developer Environments and inner-loop developer productivity
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers fostering ownership and technical excellence
• Own the design, scalability, and reliability of ephemeral developer environment systems
• Improve environment provisioning, stability, and teardown workflows to enhance velocity

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of engineering management experience
• Experience leading teams in infrastructure or platform engineering
• Experience building and operating cloud-native systems (AWS, Kubernetes)

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior experience building or managing ephemeral development environments
• Experience with test automation or build engineering
• Familiarity with Terraform or Helm
