💼 About This Role

You'll join a ~20-person team in NYC building high-fidelity simulation environments for training AI agents through reinforcement learning. Your work will directly contribute to advances in computer use, code generation, and multi-step task completion. You'll help define the technical direction of a well-funded startup backed by Andreessen Horowitz.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain high-fidelity simulation environments for AI agent training
• Develop backend infrastructure and tooling for reinforcement learning workflows
• Collaborate with AI labs to support training of agentic models

📋 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Experience as a founding engineer or equivalent high-impact role at a top-tier company
• Proven track record of building and shipping production systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Background in reinforcement learning or agentic AI
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Prior work at a fast-paced startup
