Description

You will own core forecasting models and margin analytics across COGS, tax, and pricing at Roblox. You'll operate at the intersection of Finance, Tax, Payments, Accounting, and Data to ensure accurate financial modeling and reporting for the revenue funnel, including Bookings, COGS, and Developer Expense. This role provides deep exposure to executive-level reporting and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• 2+ years in investment banking, consulting, business operations, or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or other quantitative fields
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling
• Strong analytical skills with ability to distill robust datasets into insights
• Exposure to high-growth technology or internet companies; curiosity about business drivers

Responsibilities

• Own COGS forecast, budget, and platform bookings model, analyzing trends and partnering with business teams
• Drive pricing initiatives and recommendations, developing knowledge of COGS and Tax impact
• Lead key month-end deliverables for Accounting and Tax, including regional bookings views and validation checks
• Support business decision-making through ad hoc analysis on payment providers, rate negotiations, and pricing decisions
• Enhance forecasting accuracy and scalability through process automation and improved data modeling
