Description

As a Laundry Aide, you'll transfer wet linens to dryers, deliver clean linens, and sort personal items for residents. You'll maintain cleanliness and ensure timely service in a supportive team environment.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Six months institutional laundry experience preferred
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment
• Good manual dexterity and motor skills
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs and push/pull heavy carts

Responsibilities

• Transfer wet linens to dryers and set correct temperature
• Deliver clean linens to linen room and residents' rooms
• Sort and deliver personal items to resident rooms
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry room and equipment
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor
