💼 About This Role

You'll lead geospatial data processing and pipeline improvements for onX's Offroad vertical. You'll ensure trustworthy, scalable datasets powering customer-facing products, using AI tools like Claude Code to automate workflows. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on implementation in a high-growth outdoor tech company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute geospatial data processing and pipeline tasks for Offroad content
• Lead multi-source data integration, conflation, and large-scale QA/QC
• Proactively identify data quality risks and recommend improvements
• Use Claude Code and AI tools to generate, optimize, and automate workflows

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of geospatial industry experience
• Expert-level proficiency in QGIS and advanced geoprocessing
• Expert with SQL, cloud databases (BigQuery), PostGIS, spatial indexing
• Strong Python skills including GDAL, geopandas, PyQGIS, automation

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Offroad-relevant datasets (trail networks, road conditions, terrain data, land ownership)
• Experience using Claude Code or other AI coding assistants
