Description

You will take ownership of projects involving CNC programming, setup, and operation of 5-axis machines to support prototype manufacturing for defense technology programs. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to produce mission-critical components using state-of-the-art equipment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of programming experience with CAM software (e.g., Esprit or hyperMill)
• 5+ years as a machine setup/operator
• Clear understanding of G and M code
• Experience with 5-axis milling, live tooling lathes, mill-turns, or multi-task machines
• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Brother controls
• High familiarity with various alloys, metals, and plastics
• High level of GD&T knowledge

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models
• Program, set up, and operate CNC multi-axis milling and turning machines
• Design and implement work holding and fixture methods
• Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process
• Perform quality control checks during and after manufacturing
