💼 About This Role

You'll join Clarify as a Staff Software Engineer, building the AI-native CRM platform. You'll architect critical infrastructure like data pipelines and integration frameworks, and own key technical decisions that shape how the product scales. This role offers the chance to work directly with founders and establish best practices from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build core platform systems: data pipelines, API infrastructure, developer tooling.
• Design scalable data models for CRM workflows and AI capabilities.
• Establish observability, monitoring, and performance standards.
• Create platform standards: API patterns, service design, testing frameworks.
• Own critical technical decisions on infrastructure and technology selection.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years building distributed systems and platform infrastructure.
• Deep expertise with Postgres at scale (schema design, query optimization).
• Strong with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience building developer-facing surfaces: public APIs, SDKs, or developer tooling.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, LLM APIs, or vector databases.
• Open source contributions or technical writing.
• Startup experience building 0-to-1 products.
