Description

You will develop low-level firmware and software for microcontrollers, create reusable device drivers, and integrate system-level features for systems operating on land, sea, and air. You will take full ownership of embedded firmware projects and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of firmware/embedded software development experience
• Expert level C coding for embedded systems
• Experience with microcontroller cores (ARM, AVR, MSP430, PIC, etc.)
• Experience with bus protocols: USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers
• Create reusable device drivers and integrate system-level features
• Take full ownership of design, implementation, and completion of embedded firmware projects
• Mentor other firmware engineers and contribute to team direction
• Debug issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries
