Description

You will play a key role in Oscar's valuation function, focusing on risk adjustment across ACA markets. You'll own the maintenance and review of actuarial models for accrual estimates, forecasting, and other analyses, with a big impact in a dynamic space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field
  • Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA) or on track
  • 3+ years experience in related field
  • Strong knowledge of core health insurance concepts
  • Highly technical with enthusiasm for tech-forward methods

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance core risk adjustment reporting and forecasting models
  • Improve modeling infrastructure and develop best practices
  • Develop recommendations for risk adjustment accrual setting process
  • Identify and investigate core drivers of observed trends
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
