Description

As a Film Production Teacher, you will expand a developing film program within a vibrant Performing and Visual Arts Department, teaching video production, editing, cinematography, and related topics to students in grades 7-12. You will lead IB Film classes, oversee equipment inventory, and create community showcases like film festivals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
• Experience working with a diverse community
• Experience in the film industry
• Hands-on experience with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, preferably Davinci Resolve, Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver expert instruction in filmmaking, film criticism, and film history
• Complete IB training and teach IB Film class
• Demonstrate care, maintenance and operation of equipment to students
• Oversee inventory of film equipment and materials, and systemize storage of class projects
• Create school events to showcase students' work to the community
