💼 About This Role

You'll redesign how Claude interacts with external data sources and design new architectures for information organization. You'll train language models to optimally use those architectures through finetuning and reinforcement learning. This is a chance to shape LLM knowledge systems from scratch.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement new information architecture strategies from scratch
• Perform finetuning and reinforcement learning to teach language models new interactions
• Build hard knowledge base eval sets to identify failure modes
• Design and evaluate advanced agentic search capabilities

📋 Requirements

• Very experienced Python programmer producing reliable, high-quality code
• Good machine learning research experience
• Experience developing software with Large Language Models like Claude
• Results-oriented with bias towards flexibility and impact

• Collaborated with product teams to quickly prototype and deliver solutions
• Built complex agentic systems utilizing LLMs
• Developed scalable distributed information retrieval systems (search, knowledge graphs, RAG)
