Description

You will lead the development of complex manufacturing equipment and tooling solutions for aircraft assembly, translating product requirements into scalable production systems from concept through factory integration and ramp. You'll drive supplier engagement, define equipment specifications, and oversee design reviews to ensure delivery of production-ready systems.

Requirements

• Strong technical depth in manufacturing equipment and tooling
• Experience with capital equipment projects from concept through ramp
• Ability to drive DFM and DFA inputs with engineering teams
• Proven supplier engagement and technical review skills
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and throughput requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of tooling, fixtures, and automated equipment
• Translate product requirements into detailed equipment specifications
• Develop station concepts, process flows, and equipment architectures
• Author and release RFQ packages, evaluate supplier proposals
• Oversee equipment design reviews and supplier performance through delivery
