💼 About This Role

You'll own and evolve the observability stack across a multi-datacenter, Kubernetes-based environment. Your work will directly impact production reliability and reduce operational toil. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to drive adoption of distributed tracing and open-source tooling like OpenTelemetry and VictoriaMetrics.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain production observability stacks for logs, metrics, and traces
• Scale observability infrastructure across multiple data centers and Kubernetes clusters
• Own logging pipeline architecture and drive refactoring efforts
• Improve distributed tracing coverage and drive adoption across engineering teams
• Automate operational tasks to reduce toil and improve system stability

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience in infrastructure engineering
• Solid hands-on production experience with observability systems
• Experience with Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management (EKS preferred)
• Practical knowledge of storage trade-offs for observability data at scale

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience using AI to automate infrastructure or observability tasks
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tooling selection and workflow integration
• Background in cloud account or environment migrations
