💼 About This Role

You'll lead Babel Street's API-first platform strategy and MCP integrations for an AI-native, agent-driven platform. You will define semantic APIs and context-aware service patterns, partnering with AI, Data, and Platform teams to power next-generation intelligence workflows. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to shape the future of the platform in a hybrid environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define and lead API-first platform strategy and standards
• Design and deliver semantic, agent-ready APIs
• Establish MCP standards and implementation patterns
• Define context management patterns for agent workflows

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Principal Engineer or Staff+ level experience
• Strong hands-on experience building distributed systems
• Experience designing and building API-first platforms

✨ Nice to Have

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) hands-on experience
• Familiarity with Vertex AI Agent Engine
• Background in ADK and reasoning frameworks such as LangChain
