Description

You will provide outpatient physical therapy to seniors in senior living communities under their home health benefit, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to help clients remain at home.

Requirements

• Current Maryland Physical Therapist license
• Minimum one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist
• Graduation from an APTA-approved program
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Make outpatient visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform diagnostic tests and measurements (mobility, range of motion, strength, balance)
• Develop and implement individualized care plans including therapeutic exercises and gait training
• Educate clients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities
• Document observations and interventions using electronic medical records
