You'll design and build net new data pipelines for a rapid growth scale-up platform connecting chefs with home cooks. Your work will set the engineering foundation for the entire data org, enabling scalable, production-ready solutions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build resilient batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Facilitate migration from disparate data sources to new models.
• Champion data reliability with proactive monitoring and quality practices.
• Optimize data models for fast, efficient decision-making.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Proficient in Java, Scala, or Python with deep data processing expertise
• Proven track record in designing distributed data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Spark, Flink, Kafka)
• Experience with real-time and batch data pipelines in production

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, containers)
• Prior experience in a rapid growth company or startup
• Opinionated on engineering best practices
