Description

As a CNA with BAYADA, you'll provide one-on-one personal care and household support to help adults stay safe and independent at home. You'll follow a care plan from a registered nurse and assist with daily living activities, building meaningful client relationships.

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience
• Completed a recognized CNA training course and certified as a CNA
• Passion for caregiving and desire to help others
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care
• Perform household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Take vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
