💼 About This Role

You'll build AI platform infrastructure and developer tooling for Toast's internal AI teams. Your core impact includes designing and shipping features across the LLM proxy, agentic workflows, and the plugin marketplace. This role offers hands-on work with cutting-edge AI systems in a fast-growing company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and ship features across AI platform infrastructure
• Develop and extend autonomous agents that participate in the SDLC
• Build on and contribute to the internal plugin marketplace
• Implement MCP services and service templates for AI workflows

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years designing and implementing scalable software systems
• Experience building, deploying, or operating LLM-powered agents
• Familiarity with MCP or agentic frameworks
• Strong foundation in modern backend (Java, Kotlin) and frontend (TypeScript, React)

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with A2A protocols and multi-agent orchestration
• Experience with ML infrastructure or ML concepts
• Familiarity with observability tooling for AI/LLM systems
