Description

You will build and lead an ANZ-based team of Site Reliability Engineers, ensuring the health of Aiven's cloud data platform during local business hours and coordinating incident response. Your team will drive software and process improvements, working collaboratively with global SRE teams.

Requirements

• Experience managing or leading a software development or operations team.
• Prior experience working as an engineer at a software company.
• Ability to contribute to technical discussions at a senior level.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop global operations work with EMEA and NA SRE Managers.
• Lead a team of ANZ-based SREs.
• Enable the team to drive software and process initiatives for the Aiven platform.
• Plan on-call shift rotations to ensure adequate team availability.
• Run a tight, efficient operation based on metrics and data.
