Description

You will serve as a testifying expert in regulatory and litigation matters, helping build CRA's European Energy Practice in London. You will work with global colleagues to adapt US market-leading frameworks for European clients, focusing on electricity and gas economics.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Economics, Energy Economics, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years professional experience in energy economics, market analysis, or regulatory consulting
• Proven track record as a testifying expert
• Deep knowledge of European or UK energy markets and decarbonization policy
• Strong quantitative and analytical expertise with leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Act as testifying expert in regulatory, litigation, and arbitration settings for electric and gas sectors
• Lead the buildout of CRA's European Energy Practice, including recruiting and mentoring team
• Collaborate with North American and European colleagues to adapt frameworks for European clients
• Build and maintain client relationships with utilities, regulators, investors, and developers
• Contribute to thought leadership through publications and conference participation
