Description
You will provide sales support to the Service Department, build relationships with clients, pursue leads for preventative maintenance agreements, and close new business deals. Your goal is to exceed customer expectations and make BSS their preferred supplier for HVAC products and services.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of HVAC and BAS (preferred)
- Experience working with senior executives and C-level customers
- Strong sales track record, consistently exceeding quotas
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong analytical, technical, and strategic thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Delaware driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Required HVAC certificates and licenses
- Willingness to travel as needed
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers
- Pursue leads and acquire Preventative Maintenance agreements
- Generate and present proposals for Preventative Maintenance Agreements
- Promote and sell company products to current and prospective customers
- Assess customer needs and recommend tailored solutions
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and business conditions
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals
- Develop and maintain a network of business contacts
- Identify and implement strategies for business growth
- Evaluate HVAC equipment and estimate labor/material needs
- Provide sales forecasts and track key accounts
- Arrange and lead business meetings with potential clients
- Close new business deals and integrate contract requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and protect company interests
- Keep management informed of sales progress and account status
- Mentor and develop entry-level sales staff
- Collaborate with sales, service, and controls teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide market feedback to management on trends and opportunities
- Attend industry events, seminars, and user group meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
