💼 About This Role

You'll design and build backend services for search, remediation, and quarantine workflows used by SOC teams. Your work directly powers how security teams find and act on malicious messages inside the Abnormal platform. You'll leverage AI development tools to ship high-quality software faster.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build backend services for multi-tenant enterprise email environments
• Work with Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, and Product Manager to scope and deliver features
• Own reliability through unit tests, integration testing, and production observability
• Participate in on-call rotations and resolve customer issues

📋 Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of industry experience in backend development and distributed systems
• Experience building features from scratch and operating them in production
• Experience working with distributed teams and async written communication

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Python, Go, AWS, Kubernetes, Django
• Experience with search systems, remediation workflows, or SOC tooling
• Exposure to email security, DMARC/DKIM, or cybersecurity products
