Description

You will develop and execute commodity strategies for composites, manage end-to-end sourcing, and act as the sourcing expert for composites manufacturing. You'll partner with engineering and contract manufacturers to influence design and negotiate key agreements, ensuring best-in-class pricing, quality, delivery, and service terms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of composites manufacturing and/or sourcing engineering
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
• Experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, or high tech industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity strategies for composites focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience
• End-to-end responsibility for delivering quality parts at the right cost
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing process for composites
• Manage external Contract Manufacturing relationships, ensuring continuity of supply and risk management
• Perform detailed cost analysis and make data-driven decisions based on TCO
