Description

You will lead the Cloud Enablement team at Temporal, responsible for delivering critical cloud capabilities like high-availability namespaces and automated failover. You'll combine people leadership with hands-on technical ownership of distributed systems, ensuring reliable, production-grade features at scale.

Requirements

• Background as senior/staff engineer before moving into management
• Deep experience building and operating distributed systems
• Comfort working hands-on with complex, concurrency-heavy codebases
• Proven leadership in delivering production-grade cloud services
• Strong understanding of replication, failover, and migration concepts

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and support a team of engineers working on distributed systems
• Set technical direction and align execution with company priorities
• Drive delivery of High Availability namespaces, failover automation, and migration tooling
• Establish a culture of operational excellence and ensure features are production-ready
• Coordinate with Product, Infrastructure, Cloud, and OSS teams for cohesive solutions
