Description

You will design and evolve the storage engine, transaction system, page cache, and query execution of a graph database. Your work will involve building high-performance, reliable database internals for real-world graph workloads in a collaborative team.

Requirements

• Strong experience building low-level or systems software
• Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms, concurrency, system design and performance trade-offs
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Scala
• Experience with graph databases or database internals
• 4+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Build and ship core kernel functionality of a graph database
• Design and maintain storage engines, transaction and concurrency control, page cache and memory management, schema and metadata handling
• Optimize graph traversal and query execution paths
• Debug and optimize CPU, memory, and IO bottlenecks
• Participate in design reviews, roadmap discussions, and architectural decisions
