Description

You will design, build, and optimize integrations between Starshield AI models and government systems, working directly with end customers to deliver mission-critical AI solutions for U.S federal agencies. Collaborate with product, research, and legal teams to ensure safety and ethical standards while rapidly deploying production-grade code.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, engineering, physics, or data science
• 1+ years of software engineering experience building scalable systems, APIs, or AI/ML applications
• Active Top-Secret or Top-Secret SCI clearance
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
• Strong understanding of HTTP protocol and secure API design

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize integrations between Starshield AI models and government systems
• Identify pain points, scope product specifications, and build AI-powered software for government/enterprise
• Benchmark models and develop evaluation frameworks to ensure compliance and address weaknesses
• Enhance model performance via prompt tuning or fine-tuning for secure, scalable deployment
• Partner with agency stakeholders to prototype solutions and iterate based on feedback
