Description

You will design and implement software and firmware for next-generation avionics systems at SpaceX, supporting the Falcon and Dragon programs. You'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of the software you create, including development, testing, and operational support, directly impacting launch frequency and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, physics, or related field; OR 2+ years professional software experience
• 1+ years software development with C++ or C
• Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance
• Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Must obtain and maintain Top Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality software and firmware for processors and microcontrollers
• Support launch operations and integrate/test flight hardware/software systems
• Collaborate with peers and customers on vehicle system design
• Analyze test results and bugs requiring in-depth investigations
• Bring up and validate devices that communicate in space
