Description

You will build and optimize the platform that powers Nuro's autonomous vehicles, working on onboard systems, performance, or devices platform to ensure reliable and efficient self-driving software.

Requirements

• 2+ years relevant industry experience
• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in CS, EE, CE, Robotics or related field
• Strong C++ skills
• Experience with distributed systems, computer architecture, or OS
• Familiarity with profiling tools (e.g., perf, eBPF, Perfetto)

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable high-performance platform for autonomy software integration
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems/safety teams
• Resolve onboard error and performance problems
• Optimize AV software performance for latency and resource efficiency
• Build device drivers, inter-device protocols, and runtime APIs
