💼 About This Role

You'll work as a per diem Emergency Veterinarian at Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG), handling ER cases and surgeries in a collaborative hospital environment. You'll provide high-quality emergency care, from triage to complex procedures, while enjoying a culture of mentorship and continuous learning. The role emphasizes a people-centric approach and hands-on experience with diverse cases, including exotics.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Answer medical questions over the phone
• Conduct physical examinations and diagnostic procedures like ultrasounds, X-rays, and bloodwork
• Perform emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment plans directly with clients
• Create and review medical records for accuracy

📋 Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree
• Experience in emergency medicine including soft tissue surgery and endoscopy
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg independently and support up to 40 kg with assistance
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis
