💼 About This Role

You'll architect, design, build, and operate test infrastructure to validate thermal systems for grid-tied converters. You'll uncover design failures by executing physical tests and developing automated test equipment. Your work will directly set the pace of iteration in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute thermal and fluids testing from component to system level
• Design test fixtures, procure and integrate instrumentation and support equipment
• Automate test execution, data logging, and post-processing
• Drive root cause and failure analysis, closing feedback loop with design engineering

📋 Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with thermodynamics/fluids background
• >2 years industry or research lab experience with hands-on test fixture development
• Python/Matlab scripting and source control (Git/Bitbucket)
• DAQ experience with thermocouples, flow sensors, pressure sensors, anemometers

✨ Nice to Have

• Simulation/modelling in fluid network analysis, thermal/RC, CFD, commercial CAD
• Reliability and statistical analysis
• Power electronics and high voltage testing experience
