Account Executive, Enterprise Platforms (New Business)

Description

In this role, you will create partnerships between Stripe and innovative software platforms, helping them leverage Stripe's commerce infrastructure to turn payments into a competitive advantage. You'll manage named accounts, develop account plans, and lead the full sales cycle from lead to close for upper middle market and enterprise companies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience with a record of top performance, preferably selling a technical product
  • Proven track record of leading complex, multi-party sales in a consultative manner
  • Ability to understand complex technical problems and articulate Stripe's value proposition
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM hygiene and sales forecasting

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage a named account list and develop account plans for winning and expanding with upper middle market and enterprise companies
  • Build and maintain key relationships with C-level executives
  • Contribute to platform partnership strategy and build repeatable processes
  • Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead to close
