💼 About This Role

You'll lead the development of next-generation video services for Hawk-Eye Innovations, building the foundational frameworks that power live sports officiating and replays. Your work will ensure video is performant, frame-accurate, and rock-solid across hybrid edge-cloud environments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the technical roadmap for core C++ video frameworks
• Write and review high-performance, multithreaded C++ code
• Solve complex video synchronization and transcoding challenges with FFmpeg
• Mentor mid-level engineers and lead technical discussions

📋 Requirements

• Mastery of modern C++ (C++20 preferred) with multithreaded code
• Deep video expertise using FFmpeg and codec trade-offs
• Proven technical leadership and ability to drive direction
• Comfort with Git, Visual Studio, and debugging distributed systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda) and containerization
• Knowledge of GPU acceleration (NVIDIA NVENC/NVDEC) or protocols (SRT, RIST, WebRTC)
• Passion for sports or high-stakes reliability environments
