Description

You will lead the accounting function at LaunchDarkly, transforming it into a business-facing partner as the company scales from $200M to $400M+ ARR. Reporting to the CFO, you'll own revenue recognition, close discipline, internal controls, and team leadership, laying the foundation for future IPO readiness.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior accounting leader at a high-growth SaaS company.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition and technical accounting.
• Experience designing internal controls and preparing for public-company readiness.
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills with GTM, Legal, FP&A, and IT.
• Leadership skills to develop and scale an accounting organization.

Responsibilities

• Operate accounting function with minimal executive oversight while maintaining rigor and judgment.
• Deliver accurate, timely financials through strong close discipline.
• Establish Accounting as a trusted business partner to functional leaders.
• Own revenue recognition and contract accounting, reducing complexity through upstream clarity.
• Build scalable accounting operating model for $200M-$400M+ ARR, including SOX readiness without over-engineering.
