💼 About This Role

You'll shape and drive the end-to-end growth strategy across the client lifecycle at Upwork, a leading freelance marketplace. Your work will directly influence revenue expansion, client success, and durable marketplace growth by balancing short-term experimentation with long-term platform health.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Define and execute product-led growth strategy across the client lifecycle.
  • Own critical growth metrics end-to-end and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Lead high-velocity experimentation to unlock new acquisition and monetization levers.
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and Sales to ship product experiences.

📋 Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience owning and scaling product-led growth strategies in a SaaS or marketplace environment.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to think holistically about lifecycle economics and tradeoffs.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment on complex, ambiguous initiatives without formal authority.
  • High analytical fluency with experience using experimentation frameworks and data analysis.

  • Capable-level AI proficiency including using AI tools to synthesize research and refine product strategy.
  • Experience applying AI tools to evaluate experimentation results for quality and accuracy.
