💼 About This Role

You'll build beautiful, fast, polished APIs for Whop's backend, creating primitives used by internal and external developers. You'll work closely with founders and designers to turn vision into clean architected systems. This role offers a minimum cash comp of $300K plus a competitive equity package.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build beautiful, fast, polished APIs across the Whop backend
• Create primitive APIs used by internal and external developers
• Create patterns, prompts, and internal tools for developer leverage
• Work closely with founders and designers to architect systems
• Delete outdated code and propose reusable architecture patterns

📋 Requirements

• Experience as a Staff Software Engineer or equivalent
• Strong backend development skills with API design
• Ability to work with distributed systems and databases
• Experience in fintech or high-scale platforms preferred
