You'll lead the People Ops function at a VC-backed startup transforming home design, building scalable programs from scratch for a remote-first, high-growth team. Your work directly enables a culture of high trust and high autonomy that gives employees confidence to move fast. This role reports to executive leadership and is critical to scaling without losing culture.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Build and own the People Ops roadmap translating company objectives into scalable programs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the People Ops team setting KPIs and removing blockers.
- Evolve remote-first culture with systems built around accountability and autonomy.
- Refine performance management and engagement programs for high standards and trust.
- Build and lead a manager training program for consistent effective people leads.
๐ Requirements
- 7โ10 years in People Ops or HR with a track record of building scalable programs.
- 2โ3 years leading a People Ops team in a high-growth tech environment.
- Experience leading distributed teams and navigating remote-first challenges.
- Data-driven approach to people decisions using engagement and retention trends.

- Experience with organizational change and internal communication.
- Familiarity with HR tech: Lattice, Rippling, Slack, Notion, Asana.
