💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Identity Platform team within Risk, Fraud and Disputes, building systems that manage the full KYC/KYB lifecycle. Your work ensures regulatory compliance and enables AI-driven automation to reduce manual reviews. You'll engage directly with enterprise customers and regulators on complex identity scenarios.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end identity verification lifecycle from CIP through ongoing CDD.
• Build and operate KYC/KYB systems enforcing identity verification and risk monitoring.
• Drive AI-first automation to reduce manual review rates and increase efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team to improve velocity and reliability.
• Act as technical leader in customer and regulatory escalations.

📋 Requirements

• 8–10+ years in engineering with 3+ years managing senior/staff engineers.
• Deep backend expertise in Java/Spring Boot and Python/Airflow.
• Experience with incident management and blameless post-mortems.
• AI-first mindset with hands-on experience using AI/ML to improve automation.

✨ Nice to Have

• Deep understanding of identity verification and AML/BSA compliance in fintech.
• Experience with identity vendors like Trulioo, LexisNexis, Socure, or Alloy.
• Background in fintech issuing platforms or payments operations.
