Description

You will assist in hardware development and testing of voting systems, gaining hands-on experience with prototype testing, validation, and certification processes while learning federal standards like VVSG.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
• 0-2 years relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and desktop power supplies
• Familiarity with installing drivers, OS, and software on hardware
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Responsibilities

• Install software on lab hardware, inspect incoming electronic parts, manage lab inventory, and prepare hardware for demonstrations
• Log defects, report test results, and communicate findings to senior team members
• Assist in reproducing hardware issues for Root Cause Analysis and gather information for Product Requirements Documents
• Shadow EMI/EMC and environmental testing at external laboratories for regulatory certification experience
